Shopping around for a photographer can suck, because there's so many options, prices, and packages.
With most photographers, you'll pay a "session fee," and then have to pay per image for every photo you want after the 5, 10, or 20 included in that fee. That means you'll pay hundreds just for the session, then another $500-$1,500+ for your images. And, you’ll have to pick and choose which ones you’re OK with never seeing ever again, unless you pay even more for ALL the images.
Sorry (not sorry), but that's nonsense.
The moment you receive your gallery of final images should be one of elation, not decision-making.
So, my no-nonsense pricing policy is this: You pay one fee, and that's it. No upselling, no add-ons, no packages, no nonsense. Every "keeper" I shoot, you get to keep.
For a typical one-hour shoot, I deliver between 60-100+ final images to my clients - and not one of them has ever said "You know, Chazz, I really wish we would have had to spend hours agonizing over which images to purchase after our shoot!"
I would never want a photographer having images of me or my family that I didn't have, because I didn’t purchase additional images separately after the shoot.
So I don't treat you that way. It's that simple.

It’s your photoshoot, so you’re the boss! It’s best to match the vibe you’re going for and the location you’re shooting in. Casual, Fall shoot? Jeans, sweatshirts, and boots look the part. Professional portrait? Throw that blazer on! You get the picture (pun intended).
We do live in Colorado, so, you know. Sometimes weather changes fast. I have a very generous rescheduling policy, but am also not afraid to brave a storm (just as long as the camera stays dry).
I understand life happens! If you need to reschedule for reasons outside of your control, I ask that you let me know as soon as you know, and we’ll work together to find another date. I do only allow one reschedule before I will cancel the shoot and refund 80% of the half session fee you’ve already paid.
Half due at time of booking + remaining balance due immediately following our session. I will not start editing your images until full payment has been received.
Full refund of the half session fee you’ve already paid if you cancel your booking 14 days or more before the session date. Under 14 days and you will receive an 80% refund of the half session fee you’ve already paid. Under 24 hours and you will receive a 50% refund.
Within 1-2 weeks, depending on how many final images there are and how much, if any, retouching or more in-depth editing is required.
You will receive a link to your full online gallery as soon as it’s ready, and you’ll be able to instantly download all your photos full-size, full-resolution with one click.
95% of my clients only want digital files, but for those who would like to print and/or frame their images, I can help point you in the direction of some fantastic print options at no extra charge. I do not have a storefront where I get a cut from selling you prints.
I have a 15-minute grace period during our shoot (especially for families - younger kids can be a little unruly sometimes!)
If we go over 15+ minutes, we'll stop and discuss additional fees for adding time to our shoot. No surprise or sneaky charges here.
As part of my no-nonsense pricing, I will happily travel to shoot in any of the following areas at no additional cost:
Anywhere outside of a 35+ mile radius around Denver does entail a travel fee of $60 added on to your initial booking payment:
